Emerging Technologies and Innovation

Task 1

New technology, new software is my website blog on emerging technologies. My understanding is that as technology develops, there is an increased need for new software to be created, or it may be that with current software being made, there is a demand for improving technology so that software can run faster and be used in a variety of new creatively inspired, innovating different ways.

In another student’s essay, from Colorado university, they write “Software systems must evolve at the hands of the users. End users experience a system’s deficiencies; subsequently, they have to play an important role in driving its evolution. Software systems need to contain mechanisms that allow end-user modification of system functionality.”(Fischer, G. 1998) What this means, as users think of new ways to try and use software, this motivates and pushers software developers to create their wishes. It’s an opportunity in the market to move ahead.

The purpose of this writing, then is to explore emerging technologies and emerging software.
